The art was gorgeous but the story was just a little too all over the place for me. This book had me wondering wtf was happening every few pages and not in a good way. I wanted to love this, but it just wasn’t for me, I guess.

Cute, but I saw the twist ending coming from a mile away.

I liked Wink and Poppy and their stories well enough, but Midnight felt pretty bland and almost without autonomy throughout the entire story, which I didn't love.
