To be honest, I'm still kind of struggling to decide whether I liked this book. It was compelling, to be sure, and I think I enjoyed the first half or so. But at some point, it began to feel a little repetitive. The writing style was extremely unique which was interesting for a while but again, repetitive. I kind of wish this had been a novella that only covered the first half because around the end the supernatural aspects began to lose their logic (and I don't mind that it wasn't explained, but it should at least be consistent) and it kind of felt like the book didn't know how to end.

GOD every Olivia Dade book just feels like a warm hug

better than the other christina laurens i've read but still overall nothing mindblowing
