» liked «
- senior party week
- Olivia does the right thing in the end and comes forth to tell the truth

» disliked «
- this entire book hinges on the fact that Olivia's mother basically stalks her daughter 24/7. like literally every other page mentions that her mother is following her location on Life360.

» overall «
not as romantic or interesting as the first book

- more from this universe, but not this book

» disliked «
- Iko
- the "romance"

kill the alpha
, and then everything was resolved
- the art style, just didn't like the depictions of the characters. they all seem so bland

» liked «
- Alex encouraging Lulu to go to that author's book signing

» disliked «
- audiobook narrator has a southern accent
- book is in present tense, first person POV
- Harry Potter reference(s)
- "Did Alex really touch my hand? What does it mean? I need to check my horoscope ASAP." ew lol
- Alex was right, Lulu shouldn't make it her business who Alex dates, when SHE broke up with him
- Lulu and Alex manage to spray each other with a water gun from a stall at Six Flags... WHAT GAMES ALLOWS YOU TO ROTATE THE GUN THAT FAR AROUND ITSELF??
- the non-linear timeline is just not done well, especially with the way the audiobook is read
- main character is vegan, and that fact comes up every 10 pages.
- main character mentions that the meat industry has a large carbon footprint, but is not a believer of science... also she completely ignores the fact that becoming vegan does not automatically reduce your carbon footprint. vegan goods can also has bad impacts environmentally and other ways.
- BUT... she starts to believe in science for her work, not because she had a change of heart
- literally every other student is all up in Lulu and Alex's relationship. like get a life bro.
