one of my favorite books<333 was very glad to be able to read it again, this time in physical form so i could highlight and mark things up
informative lighthearted
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

There was so much diverse communication rep in this book. Diverse rep as a whole as well. While the "narrator" of each page was different each time, there was also a lot of diverse representation of different types of children and adults in the background and surroundings of every page. At the very end, the detailed information about all the different forms of communication featured in the book is included as well, for a guide for adults and children alike to expand on the content of the book. Overall, a great book with fantastic representation of disability, connection, and communication. Great way to affirm and introduce adults and children alike to these things.

(ARC from Edelweiss, thank you)

thoroughly enjoyed this:) a very nice collection of information, some things i knew and some things i didn’t, i appreciate how concise and detailed at the same time this book is - providing lots of info and also providing external resources for more in depth information as well

it was okay? not horrible really, but just not quite my cup of tea

def felt like something i could chuckle at reading the little snippets of comics as like a post i’d see sometimes, but reading a whole book of it in one sitting just wasn’t for me
adventurous hopeful

looooooved this very much

the autism rep is fantastic, and i love the 4th wall breaking constantly and the awareness of ‘what to do in the conflict of the plot’ due to our mc being very well aware of stories and fandoms of her own, plus the way everything ended up was fantastic

(art was very lovely in style and layout and colors too ofc)
