I lowkey hated this MMC and I feel like they make zero sense together. Also, is this supposed to be contemporary? I swear there was mention of a cellphone in this series, but it feels like it took place in 1805 or something.
I'm all for problematic characters, but these people were problematic in really boring and dumb ways...

Dark, Funny, and full of heart. This was my favorite of the series. Plus there's a cute, chaotic raccoon. What's not to love?!

Loved this one more than the first, and my god the duet narration. Growly Lachlan is a DELIGHT for the earholes.
*this book is less gross with the murdery bits than the first one ;)

This is the type of book that you read slowly so that you can savor it. Take the book to a warm and inviting place with a roaring fire, your favorite drink, and a snack that will pair perfectly with it.

There were parts of this book that were interesting, but I wouldn't consider it a favorite or anything.

"...I am grateful for my ancestor's struggle and their survival, but I am not impressed with America's progress...I feel no need to pat America on the back for these "acheivements". this is how it always should have been."
This book is a bit too faith-based for my current level of discomfort with organized religion, however it is still powerful and real and raw and important.

This book is so delightfully fucked up. Like, truly unhinged but I was still cackling and enjoyed the shit out of it. I'm an enigma, okay.

This book is part Priest/Sinner/Saint and part Salacious Player's Club. I do think that both of those series pack more of an emotional punch than this one, but I am so onboard for the smut this book offers.
