I had previously read the first book in this series and just wasn't in love with it, however, this book renewed my interest in the series and I may have to go back and read the second book! It did take me a bit to get into this book because I tend to struggle when the MCs are so young (our FMC is only 20) but she had maturity and intrigue and her story arc kept me invested. Also, as a note: I'll listen to almost anything Teddy Hamilton narrates and I enjoyed Caitlin Elizabeth as well!

*I received a copy from Netgalley in return for my honest review.

I honestly thought the hype was going to ruin this book, but that was NOT the case. I'm in love, I'm obsessed, and I'm telling everyone who reads smut to read this dang book. Holy lords, I need more of this world and more of these people and more Emily Rath. Pick a trope or heck even pick a position and they probably explore it in this book. This book was basically crack to me.

I will read literally anything that comes out of the Jacksonville Rays series.... Everything.

So far everything I've read by Cara Bastone has left me feeling all giggly and swoony. Its all so freaking adorable and an absolute delight to listen to.

A decent quick listen to fill some time while I was bored out of my mind.

Honestly.... I kinda hated this.

The burn in this book is sloooooooooow and they are two stubborn characters for that. Because of who I am as a reader, I wanted more sexy times ESPECIALLY when we find out what kind of sexy time haver Ziggy is. Ma'am!
Spoiler Ziggy saying "Good boy" and then adding in a little hand necklace play had me almost screaming. I need more, more, more.
Most of Chloe's books I list as around a 3 chili pepper but this one is like a 1.5 or maybe a 2 chili pepper. However, I do desperately adore Ziggy and Seb. One of my favorite series callbacks that showed up here is the yoga and Ren and Frankie having just the teeeeeeniest comment about it. Anyways, loved the book because I love everything about Chloe but I need like a follow-up novella to explore all the kinky antics these two will get into because we KNOW its happening and I feel cheated.

I love me some Morgan Elizabeth. There's always banter and smut and I'm HERE FOR BOTH.

Honestly, I didn't really like this. The main character was whiny and irritating and I didn't believe their love story AT ALL. Nothing made me feel like they should be together or even understand HOW they got together.

I've read several books lately that just haven't hit me deep and so I wasn't expecting much from this book, but damn was I wrong. You know that feeling when you're reading a book and your heart starts beating faster and your breaths get all shallow and you just want to jump into the pages of the book and hug the crap out of your characters? Yeah...that. This book did that to me.
