I'm so sad that I have to wait for the next book to come out now. I'm in love with this series and the way that Chloe Liese creates and showcases these characters with real life issues. She has managed to make me connect emotionally and/or physically with a character in every one of her books. I am a person who suffers from IBS and I have never read a novel with a heroine suffering from gastrointestinal issues. There are so many of us in the world, and I truly love and appreciate realism in my romance novels. Thank you, Thank you for this novel.

This book was super fun to read. I found it to be funny and steamy hot. The entire book is basically just funny banter and hate-fucking. There's really not much plot or character development, but who cares when the spice is non-stop! Sometimes, a girl just wants a spicy read!

One note: there are like 4 epilogues in this book and that felt strange and a bit annoying to me.

This book is almost as much a love letter to Hallmark movies as it is a romance novel. There were a lot of Hallmark-specific tropes and sort of a breaking of the fourth wall. The story itself moves slowly and the romance is only part of the plot, not the entire story. I found Finn's character arc a bit confusing to me. I really liked him in the beginning, but once his issues with his father are revealed I thought he became almost narcissistic. I felt gross reading the way he spoke back to Adi, and nothing in the rest of the story made me feel like his words/actions should have been forgiven. Since the book is only from Adi's POV, we didn't see the journey he went on to get to forgiveness, and instead we read about Adi feeling bad for standing up for herself and an abuser. I just couldn't get behind that. That being said, the whole section with the grand gestures had me swoony and my heart all aflutter.

Thank you to Netgalley for the early reader copy of this book.

This was so so good! The burn was slow and my insides were getting all squirrelly wanting to jump out of themselves so they would just FALL IN LOVE ALREADY!!!! I could see pieces of the storyline falling into place and it just made me yearn to read faster and faster, all while never wanting it to end.

Josh and Gemma Make a Baby was a flawless combination of character growth and a heartwrenching and heartwarming plot. I felt a large range of emotions reading this book, and I'm thankful that every piece of this plot was there. Every character in this book was loveable for their own reasons. It's such a warm and wonderful read, even though there's pain and loss within the pages.

This was my first book by Sarah Ready, and I will absolutely pick up another.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Swift & Lewis Publishing, LLC for this advanced reader copy and the opportunity to review.

This is the first Lucy Score book I read, and now I know why I kept hearing about her on Booktok. I truly loved this book! At one point, a secondary storyline comes into play and I was expecting to hate it and how it took away from the main story, but it worked so wonderfully and made me love the characters more. Each character could get a spin off of their own. I'd love to stay in Kinship and hear all about them forever.

Thank you to Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this advanced reader copy!

This is the first time I read a book and truly felt as if each word was slowly and methodically chosen to create a beautiful symphony. You can feel the ebbs and flows within the pages of this book, it rollercoasters and pulls at your soul just as life does. Tears pricked my eyes as I read the epilogue. I felt proud of these characters and the journeys they took to get to the story's end, it was messy and slow and somehow still almost perfect.

Also, hard recommend on the audiobook. I could listen to Eboni Flower talk ALL.DAY.LONG.

*RE-READ - There's so many moments in the book that hit so hard when you haven't read the book yet and had less total gut punch because I have already read and obesessed over this book. However, Kennedy Ryan, Jakobi Diem, and Eboni Flowers are elite gods and can do no wrong.

This book is a wonderful slow burn where the female main character not only falls in love with the male main character, but also falls in love with herself and her body. I loved every moment of this book. It is expertly crafted, and while reading you are absolutely aware that the author knows precisely what she's writing about. I can feel the truth and vulnerability poured into the pages, and I feel grateful that she shared some version of herself with us amongst these pages. The love is beautiful and never once do you question why or how these two opposite characters could attract. They fit together exactly as they should. Their journey and support of each other was wonderful.

I was really liking this book in the first half, but the second half just fell apart for me. There was so much happening that just felt pointless, and I actually got very annoyed
Spoilerat the false positive pregnancy test. It just felt so flippant and unnecessary and triggering for anyone who experiences infertility.
I felt as if this book was trying to push the boundaries and hit all the triggers and it just made me uncomfortable because they didn't feel necessary. It just became sort of a grab bag of triggers: sexual assualt, pregnancy, kidnapping, stalking, sex tapes, drug/alcohol addiction.... Our main female character was this spunky, funny person and then all this dark stuff was just thrown in. It just didn't fit to me.

A great read for the lover's RomComs and Nora Ephron (I mean, isn't this ALL OF US?!). Brendan is syrupy sweet on the streets and a dirty talker in the sheets and I am here for it. He gives her space when she needs it but doesn't run away completely. He is the epitome of what I want real-life men to be, thankyouverymuch. I was not completely blown away or destroyed by this novel, but sometimes a girl just wants a nice, peaceful read and this CHECKS THAT BOX. I am enjoying living in the world created by this trilogy and I am excited for the next book.

My favorite of the series! It is steamy and sweet and was a wonderful journey to go on. This is a second chance, friends to lovers romance and those tropes just check my favorite boxes.
