Heads up that this is not a light and fluffy read, but it does feel real and raw and beautiful.

My favorite of the series. Its not a perfect book, but I also couldn't put it down and even at the gigantic size this book is I could have read more about them.

If you're looking for an angsty sapphic "omg, I have had a crush on her for forever and ever but I'm pretty sure she hates me" book, then this is the book for you! This book has perfect fall vibes and loads of coffee and pets and just feels like a warm hug. Perfect read as we waltz into pumpkin spice season! Thank you to NetGalley for an eArc of Not Just Gal Pals!

I read and enjoyed Jodie's book "Bet on It" which takes place in the same world as this book and I think I enjoyed this book even more than that one. I love that Jodie is so open and real with mental health and therapy in her books. The characters feel real and raw, but the story is somehow still light and an easy read. You don't have to get deep in your feelings which is really what I need sometimes. They are a great escape while still feeling like a piece of real life.

*I received a copy from Netgalley in return for my honest review.

This is the first book in a WHILE that had me staying up until 2am because I couldn't put the book down. I loved it so hard. The book is half about Calla's relationship with her father and half about her relationship with Jonah. There is like one sexy scene and all the rest is just freaking amazing and emotional and wonderful.

I freaking loved this. The banter and the quippy characters are just my absolute jam. Give me a quirky character who is all quippy and loveable and shit and I'll give you a standing ovation. Add in the feels that this book puts you through and it just....... *SQUEAL*. Loved it.

Abby knows how to write in a way that makes me FEEL THINGS. I don't like feeling feelings and yet I cannot stay away from her books. Even this one, I shelved it for so long because I'm an avoider. But here I am, writing another god damned 5 star review for her book because I loved it so hard. Damn you, Abby.

There's a little bit of something for everyone in this book......except spice.

However, there is: Plus sized FMC, a bisexual, a lesbian, mental health talk, Christmas stuff, Jewish holidays, art, grief, abusive parents, friendship growth and struggles, and the ever-present Christmas Tree Farm that needs to be saved. It was a quick read (listen) and it set itself up for a second in the series and honestly, THAT is the book that I'm looking forward to.

Honestly, this book is kinda campy and a bit ridiculous but aren't all Hallmark movies?! This definitely fits the mold of "I like Hallmark movies, but I wish they had more dick."

Oh how I loved this. Spicy, funny, lovely and bonus points for a winter snow in!
