I really love other Shopaholic books, but this one was a bit to much; it was a bit overdone.

It was a very sweet read! Of course Goodreads is cointing this as a book for my 2015 challenge, but let's see this will even with my big fat 900pages book I'm currently reading XD

I love this book because it is so funny and spot-on. WItteman masters the art of 'show, don't tell' in this book.

A part of what is happening in this book was also in, I think it was The Elite, the very painfull caning. It was really hard to read about that. I kindda hate that it was in the book, reading about it from America's perspective in the books was painfull but this.. it gave me chills.

I expected to read more about Marlee's time on the Selection, I missed something there. It could have been a bigger book on that side of the story.

What I didn;t expect and wat suprised me very happely, is a little part of the story taking place after The One. At least, I couldn't remember this part of the story from before. If you've read The Favorite and I'm wrong, please correct me XD I really liked this bit of new storyline, and it could have been more as well.

To conclude: a to short read. it was lovely to be bach at the world of the Selection again, but it could have been exploited more, it could have been a whole book in stead of 30 pages. Yes, the goodreads edition says 56 or something, but that includes a big sneak peak to [b:The Siren|25817407|The Siren|Kiera Cass|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1440086690s/25817407.jpg|6812394], so the Marlee-story is just a little over half of this release. I was a bit disapointed by that as well. Because of all the disappointments, not 4*, but the pages that you did get and the storyparts that were given were very good and added some nice touches (pun not intended..) to the series, it averages to 3*.
