Ethereal, gorgeous, witty, and so charming! I must say Olivia Atwater is now one of my favourite authors, her work has such a unique and charming voice. I resonated a lot with the main character Dora, the way she acts and feels emotions due to having ‘half a soul’ reminds me greatly of the autistic experience, and I found the way that the book tackles her having half a soul to be really inspiring and beautiful.
I adored the relationship between all of the characters, particularly Elias & Dora, and the detailed magical descriptions were just dazzling.
