The main couple works really well together! Their personalities fit so perfectly. Ma’xon is ready to settle down and spoil his dream woman and Odette needs someone to finally take care of her after a lifetime spent pleasing other people. The romance was sweet and the spice was EXTRA spicy. I thought this was a great alien romance and I can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes!

Death on the Nile meets Fruits Basket? And also everyone is gay? Yes please! This was an absolutely phenomenal book and will easily make my top ten of year. I can already say that for certain.

Voyage of the Damned is a murder mystery that takes place over a 12 day cruise featuring an extremely unique and diverse cast of 12 passengers with secret superpowers.

I was on the edge of my seat nearly the entire time reading! I couldn’t have guessed the details surrounding the heart-racing conclusion. I had my theories and while I did guess the correct suspect in the end, I was still left completely flabbergasted by the reveals. THIS is how you tell a murder mystery!

The incredible amount of representation in this book was awe-inspiring. There was mental health, disability, chronic illness, plus-size, bisexual, trans, non-binary, lesbian, and POC representations, and probably a few others that I missed! A quote from this book reads, “To be fair, most Blessed are usually a little gay.” I loved reading about each and every member of this cast, they were all so vivid and complex and unique!

This truly is a book meant for anyone who has ever felt like they do not belong. You are not nothing. 

I loved everything about this sweet fairytale romance! The Bridgerton vibes were immaculate. 🤌 I am never not in the mood for a dramatic high society social season with an anonymous gossip columnist. 

The protagonist Niamh is a sweet and compassionate overworked seamstress working towards the comfort and happiness of her family, never thinking of herself. She is selfless and brave and loyal, if a bit clumsy. To watch her growth and slow realization that she deserves happiness herself was such a delight.

The love interest Kit is such a complex and interesting character. His loyalty and love is not easily earned, but once it is, it burns bright and strong. His selflessness rivals even Niamh’s, though he expresses it rather differently. These two truly are meant for each other.

Each side character was so vivid and fascinating with complicated histories and motivations. I especially loved Rosa and Sofia, but I enjoyed Sinclair and Miriam as well.

I would highly recommend this read to anyone looking for a sweet romance in an incredible fantasy world with a beautiful happy ending.
