Great second book in the series, exploring the different dynamics within the group was really well done. Our new characters were so fascinating and our old ones developed so well. Once again pacing in the first half felt off, but once you get going it's something you can't put down. Anyways, Blue and Gansey deserve the world and that's that on that.

For me this book was just.... meh.
The story was cute - I was destined to enjoy it since it was a Pride and Prejudice retelling - and the characters were fun, but the rest just seemed to fall flat. What I really didn't like at ALL was the use of slang that threw me off. The amount of times characters said things like "spill the tea" or "you're so thirsty" just... didn't hit for me. I knew it would be a push for me to enjoy this since I'm not a big fan of contemporary books at all, so I'm not necessarily surprised by all this.
Still, it was a quick read and had a fun story but still... meh.
