The poetry was too sexual and relationship woes for me. I don't mind that being a part, but I'd like it to say something more.

SO Much Blood and Gore! 
Also a sexual adulterous relationship that I just didn't want to read about.

Flippant Hoid as narrator to a 19 yo boy's mind in it's sexual awakening is not my idea of a fun read.
Skipped to the last 4 chapters and read to find out what happened.
