I always know when I pick up a book by the author that it’ll be an enjoyable read, I truly just love her style and appreciate how she explores various topics in a way that feels important yet not heavy handed. While Abby is the main character here there are several switching viewpoints that brought some dimension to the story. I know next to nothing about cycling but I appreciated learning about it here especially as it’s importance to Abby us revealed along the way. The body positivity and acceptance piece here was well done and I think many people, especially women will relate to at least some piece of it. If you like books about friendships, love and relationships, and family alongside some hot button topics this was great. 

This one was just so much fun, I knew as soon as I saw it was a celebrity romance with a side of scandal that it was a must read for me. When Courtney’s life implodes in a public and humiliating way she holed up with a bodyguard in a cozy cabin in Colorado. So you get forced proximity and it had a slow burn and something about the tension that those two tropes together bring just works so well for me. Courtney was such a doll and I loved her personal journey and how it definitely wasn’t all about a romantic relationship and Damien was everything you would want in a hero. This was much spicier than the authors other books I’ve read, there’s even a stripper pole 🔥 It was a great combination of spice, cute romance and humor. 

Samantha Young can do no wrong for me, I always enjoy her books and I completely adored this one. Grump and sunshine never fails to entertain me and there’s a side of fake dating and opposites attract too. These two were truly opposites too, they couldn’t be more different in every way and I loved seeing them clash at the beginning and then slowly start to navigate how a genuine relationship would work between them. I especially loved Star, she was such an authentic character and her free spirited personality was such a joy. This one was just adorable and just so much fun and I so enjoyed my time with it.
