I won an ARC of this book off Storygraph awhile back.

Positives: Brain candy read. Even if it wasn’t in the bio, you can tell that the author really loves mysteries.

Negatives: Olympic-level and occasionally baseless leaps in logic at times, and the editing probably should’ve had a human give it a look after the AI was done with it. 

Sammi refusing to do her literal job was such a stupid “plotline”. Half of being a PI is spying on people in some form 💀💀💀
