Don't read this book if you have plans for the next few days. This book had me in a chokehold. I would be working thinking about sneaking a few pages in. My kid sat next to me and claimed I loved the book more than her (she's 13 and was teasing). I devoured this book like I was starving and couldn't get enough. I wasn't even sure I WANTED to read it, it's space and sci-fi not my typical read but I got it in my caffeine and legends book box. Now I won't shut up about it to my book friends... if I can get this book on as many shelves as possible I will.

Solid 4. It felt like a ww2 romance with sprinkles of magic. Perfect for someone who wants to try fantasy romance but doesn't want overwhelmed. I bought the 2nd in the series, so I'll be starting that today.
