I don't usually read romance. I prefer fantasy. But I like historical fantasy and was tempted by this book. I was also rewarded. This book is well written, there is a good story going on and the sexual tension does at no point break or halt the story. It's woven in nicely. Character dynamic is fun and I enjoyed the way back stories were slowly revealed.
If you do not enjoy m/m relationships in fiction you might not enjoy it, but it's a good book
