Honestly the
SpoilerKai-Anna-Kope
love triangle was a bit much, though I do like them both a lot. Pretty good middle installment, with interesting plot and character development.

*shudders* Very creepy, very suspenseful, very interesting. But not super well-written, and the All Quiet references were erroneous and stretched. The plot also felt quite "out there," but it kind of worked.

4.7 stars.

The way Clarke

undermines both relationships, though my opinion is definitely influenced by strong personal bias. In all honesty, I'm not a huge fan of flashbacks for storytelling, and they carry the bulk of the plot/explanation burden here. Glass's storyline didn't really interest me either.

But I enjoyed the overall plot arc, and there were plenty of heart-wrenching (both sweet and painful) moments that hit their mark.

The idea is refreshing, but the characters were cliched - though I did enjoy the gender role swap with Anna and Quinn - and the plot erratic. But overall, it wasn't too bad.

Not too bad, and I think the plot was unique? (Idk, I'm not super familiar with the genre.) I found her web of lies amusing but character-ruining, and it was clearly first and foremost a romance.

I felt like this was straight-up mythology fanfic (which isn't a bad thing in and of itself, but usually not what authors intend for their published works). The characters were interesting but kind of annoying.

I concede that Ky is intriguing and dreamy, and Xander wasn't half bad either. But Cassia was downright dull as an individual, nothing special about her. Not a series I'm interested in finishing.

Very much an older-generation kind of Internet cautionary tale, which I didn't appreciate - there are so many great things about the Internet, none of which were given due consideration/credit. I didn't relate to the narrator and the terminology usage was inaccurate, which showed a disappointing lack of personal knowledge, research, dedication, or some combination of the above.

Yuck. The narrator was superficial and self-centered, arrogant and annoying. In all honesty, the main reason I even finished this book was because it fulfilled a category on the 2015 reading challenge.

Wholly believable portrayal of all the family members' emotions and character development. Loved Samuel; he and Lindsey are great together. Beautiful ending (if a little confusing), though I would argue that
