Pride is really good, it really is, but as with Adam Silvera's "They both die at the end" the book just felt too fast-paced and it all just fell short (the plot, not the cultural aspects which I loved) of really bringing back the feelings I had of the original story.
I also realize how unfair it is to base my opinion completely on Austen's work, so I really want to get across that this is a good book, but not for me. The YA style of writing has just run it's course with me. I KNOW 17-year old me would've easily given this 5 stars.
