[Not released in English yet, but will be in 2012 under the title "Phantom"]

WOW. I keep falling more and more in love with Harry Hole and his flaws. I must admit, the preceeder "The Leopard" was much better, but I still rate it 5 stars because of the out of the blue ending, and for the first cliffhanger that I haven't hated. It was so heartbreaking and painful to come to the last page and accepting that it was over. It couldn't end there!

Plot:
Harry Hole returns from Honk Kong after three years. When he left, he left as a scarred man. But he's not returning to pay homage to his past, but because it is required of him, as an investigator, and a friend. A former colleague has sent him leads on a drug-case that is of great interest to Harry. A 18-year old suspect has been arrested. This boy is Oleg, the son of Harry's one true love, his ex-girlfriend, Rakel.
