Yet another solid book from Megan Miranda!
There were just enough smaller story lines going on throughout the book that it kept you thinking about those instead of the bigger story that she was building up to. I didn’t piece together exactly where she was going with the overall story until right before it was revealed to us… I don’t know if it was the good storytelling or my absolute exhaustion while reading but I’m going to give it to the author and the writing this time around

So I want to start this review off by saying I read this when my brain felt like it was turning to mush. I think if I were to go back and read this when I was functioning more it would have been a 5 star review!
This had a lot of the same vibes as the Red Rising series and I was all about that! I loved that it was set in space and I loved the competition theme for the book. I thought it could be slightly confusing at times and I kept having to go back and reread parts to make sure I was understanding everything (honestly could have just been me functioning at half capacity though).
If you’re a fan of sci-fi books set in space with a competitive edge to them then this book is definitely for you!

I was soooooo nervous to read this one because the only other Jeneva Rose book I read I absolutely hated

4.5/5 stars
What an absolutely wild ride! I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this one because I’m not always the biggest fan of the teacher/student affair trope but this one was crazy!
Can’t wait to pick up another Freida McFadden book soon!

I have to say this may be Ruth Ware’s best book yet!
I absolutely devoured this one! Everything about it was so raw and terrifying at times I was actually getting chills and anxiety reading about the things that were happening. What an absolutely wild ride!
Highly recommend this one if you’re a fan of a fast paced thriller!

Just wow!
Danielle L Jensen is quickly becoming a favorite author after reading both duologies in the Bridge Kingdom series! Her writing totally immerses you in the story and keeps you totally enthralled start to finish!
This book was so incredibly intense from start to finish and I loved it!
I will admit that I liked the first duology better but this one is still fantastic! It’s more about the characters for me, I liked Aren and Lara a lot more as a pair. I loved Keris as a character but Zarrah wasn’t my favorite at times. While they will be a badass ruling couple, I think Keris is the overall stronger character of the duo.
I’m so excited to see what the next duology brings and I can’t wait for it to be released!
Part of me hopes she does another duology after the third with some different characters!

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book and decided to finally pick it up after seeing the preview for the show.
Overall I really enjoyed this one but it definitely got off to a slow start for me. The science parts were a little confusing at times but I think I understood most of what was trying to be explained (I have some experience with multiverse theories from Marvel

What an entertaining read!
Need to murder your employer? Don’t worry, McMasters can help!
The story follows 3 students at McMasters as they go through their studies and execute their thesis aka murder their employers.
I thought Cliff are Dulcie were such fantastic characters but I wasn’t a huge fan of the Gemma storyline. Other than that I really enjoyed this one and I love a story that focuses around a school setting! Reading about Cliff and Dulcie’s deletions kept you on the edge of your seat wondering how they were going to pull it off while Gemma’s fell a bit flat.
All in all a very entertaining read!

3.5/5

A post-apocalyptic mystery/thriller where the only way to save the last safe place on earth is to solve the last murder on earth.
I absolutely love Turton’s method of storytelling! He has a slightly disjointed way of writing that sometimes makes it hard to see the whole picture which keeps you from figuring out exactly what’s going on throughout the story. I will say the ending is totally not what I was expecting from this and it was a tad unsatisfying for me but at the same time makes a ton of sense with the rest of the story …
But that’s why it lost a star despite loving the rest of the book!
