Reading for at least the third time, maybe the fourth, I can't remember. First read in around 1994/5.

Not a bad book at all, but I was very reminded of two of Ruth Ware's novels - One By One and In a Dark Dark Wood. The suspense didn't quite do it for me and the characters were all pretty unpleasant, so I wasn't invested in any of them.

If you're looking for a suspense in snow and haven't read One by One, try that first.
