This is definitely not Nora Roberts at her best. The problem is that the Inn in the book is a real one - owned by Nora and her husband. And you can tell. There's too much about the inn renovation and not enough about the characters and the romance. The room descriptions take over and I found myself skipping over the hotel bits with no real idea of what the rooms looked like because it was all a bit tedious. More of the actual storyline rather than a thinly disguised plug for the hotel would have made the book much better - and would probably have made me want to visit too.

Sadly, not nearly as good as Case Histories. A similar style of many tales coming together was made rather tedious by not particularly likeable characters who spent far too much time thinking about themselves and not enough time doing something. Almost redeemed from being a 2-star read by the very end, but not quite.

Surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be cheesy and corny but it actually had depth. Both the hero and heroine were flawed but normal too. A little angst but not too much. They were real. It really worked.
