It was cute but mainly just smut scenarios...not really much character development but still a fast fun read! 

Really enjoyed this! Dare I say this is kind of cozy?!! The twists were not surprising but were appreciated. I loved the humor in this and the movie horror aspects.  I do think if the majority of the book were to take place in her home town there would've been more of an impact to everything that happened to the main character because it felt like there was a disconnect once she went back to her city. Also it was a lot of telling rather than showing so it was hard to connect to the characters. The ending tho was great! 

Quick sci fi read! I was doubting what was happening too along with the main character so I enjoyed trying to piece things together!! I do wish the tone was even more unsettling. More of a thriller/ twisted romance than a horror tho. 

The beginning felt very choppy to me that I was having a hard time settling in. I really enjoyed the middle portion of this book, I loved Alina and her profession, the gothic vibes and even though the love interest was twisted I was rooting for them. I absolutely hated the 3rd act!! Also the ending was super rushed to me?! And just didn't make sense from Silas character development we were seeing as their relationship progressed. I hated him, loved him, then absolutely loathed him and hope Alina NEVER forgives him! Highlight of this book was definitely Alina and her perseverance through all the trauma she has endured.
