i was going to rate this 3 stars but the last couple chapters really changed my opinion. the whole time i was wondering what creature is causing all this commotion in the building and with the characters family and i was not expecting what it was. Overall i enjoyed reading this book. 

I listened to the audiobook and it was such a fun read. I enjoyed reading about the world and the different gifts people have. 

although i finished reading this in a couple of hours, i wish i didn’t have my time wasted on this. I was 50% into the book when i realized nothing was really happening plot wise. the first part of the book was set in prison and how the mc was adjusting but nothing important for the plot it self. ending felt very rush and was resolved in like 1 page. 

I couldn’t go further than a couple chapters, once it got to a pedo situation i dnf’d. 

I loved the concept of the world that the main characters live in. this was a quick read for me and it was basically action from start to finish.
