The story is still good but this volume went too fast and was really predictable. Also An Tzu was annoying and stupid. But the drawings are stunning and the world building ain’t bad 

It’s cute and great and magical

At first I was like « Gosh I hate Noah » then I realised that on some point he reminds me of my brother so… also he has such a good chemistry with Devin, and I was rooting for them as soon as Devin vomited on him. Also I loved Devin, e’s such a good person and gosh I felt em at some point 

Also, great character development for Noah, and we stan

Tbh almost dnf it. But the stalker subplot keep me listening(but this is a romance). And at least the ending (especially the epilogue saved it) 
Like this is a love story but there’s like almost no chemistry between the characters. Yes I like a bit of miscommunication… but here, it just makes things worse. 
Anyway…

It’s a re-read and it’s still so good

Okay I really, really liked this book. The characters are pretty good, they both have their ideals and principles. The subjects of legacy and gentrifications are also main topics of this book. 

Thé romance? Pretty good. Sometimes I felt like somethings where a bit rushed, but it’s a short book. So it’s totally normal. They have good chemistry, they’re cute and deserve each other. 

Bonus point for the spicy scenes. But malus point because they never wore protection 

Also, are they rich? Because they always eat out

A good book. What really makes it work is the relationships between the characters

Bien que j’ai un peu moins apprécié ce livre que le premier ce fut un bon livre. Beaucoup de points sont abordés sans forcément être résolus, mais je suppose que ça le sera dans un troisième tome. J’ai trouvé un peu dommage que l’enquête ne prenne pas plus de place, ou la magie. Mais ça reste un bon tome. Si un troisième sort, vous pouvez être sûr.e.s que je le lirai.
