i was thoroughly confused at points and there was so many references to east asian cultures that i had no knowledge on that made reading this a little difficult
i liked the plot of this story but i feel like the ending was rushed if anything: there was a buildup to something that was solved way too easily

i found that this book got better as it progressed which is a very uncommon phenomenon
i love how effortlessly indian culture was weaved into the storyline and how effortlessly certain societal issues were discussed in the right way

i got through the first part of the book so fast straight after reading red queen but then got into a bit of a slump
i do prefer the first book of the series

got through this book pretty quickly, i love how it’s paced
the little plot twists that all fit together work so well and make it a really enjoyable read
the ending seemed a little rushed to me but that’s forgivable

this book was so easy to read i loved it sm
sometimes what happens makes me cringe a little inside bc of how weird it really is but oh well oh well

waiting to finish later
