i quite liked this book, i just thought that some bits were rushed and other bits were just going a little off topic. like with the whole flirty sheriff shenanigan?¿ what was that all about?¿ but i’m glad that justice was served in its own way

i loved this book!¡ i only started reading this series because it was by the author of the inheritance games series, which i loved, but it kept me hooked the whole way through and i found the behavioural and psychological aspects of it super interesting

I went into this book not really expecting anything, knowing it would be enjoyable after reading The Good Lie.
I loved how not a single clue was given for how everything would unfold and the structure of the book is great, especially for parallel storylines. The only thing that I didn’t like was how quickly the book was wrapped up after the main events occurred.

I did like this book a lot, not as much as the second one though. My main issue with it is that it could’ve been split into two normal sized books which could’ve been a lot easier to get through.

I don’t like reading non-fiction too much, so I picked this book because it is short and seemed helpful. Although the general message of embracing and adapting to change is useful in day-to-day life, the oversimplified approach isn’t realistic at all. Decent book nonetheless.

l was very pleasantly surprised by this book. It was so well written, especially in regard to the histories of the newer characters, and never gave away what would happen next
