 500k players. A teenage developer managing it alone with one mod. Yeah no. Also, you don't build a game like this in three years with only one person helping you. Oh and self taught too.

I would have enjoyed this book a lot more had the gaming side of been more realistic. A game like that needs a lot of work and I feel this book misrepresents all the effort it takes. Games are not something you quickly just google and put together alone. They take lots of effort and expertise in many fields.
