A fun retelling of Ocarina of Time. It removed one of the dungeons from the game, but otherwise I really enjoyed the additions they made to the story. I liked their justification for Link's characterization as an adult too. Having missed out on so many years of his life hes not terribly wise, but he's kept his innocence and sincerity and that's pretty charming. Art team did a great job and I LOVED the Skull Kid issue. Nice tease of Majora's Mask. Really looking forward to reading the next collection!

This volume starts what's being called "The Metal Virus Saga". The saga has a slow start, but there's fun banter with Rough & Tumble and we get to see more of Dr. Starline's personality on display with him interacting with a revived Eggman and taking his own stab at beating Sonic. It's fun to see Starline's logical, strategy driven mind clash with Eggman's zany, egotistical genius. This volume is ok by itself, but more enjoyable when paired with the next volume.

Like everyone else, I have problems with just how verbose this book gets, but Superman gets some great moments this volume and there's some pretty cool world building this volume. Love the addition of the 6th Dimension (and the 5th Dimensional Imps introducing us to it). It's hard to jump into the story without context from previous volumes, but if you've been reading up to this point it's worth picking up for the artwork alone.

The artwork is great, but the stories are significantly shorter than what we got in the Ocarina of Time adaptation so a lot of great moments and characters get cut short or aren't featured at all. Understandable, knowing they had limited page space and not as much time with the source material but still disappointing.

The way Gail Simone writes Plastic Man is fun, but a little crass for my taste. There's some interesting mysteries introduced, but since the series got cancelled only 1 of them is resolved in any sort of way. Not my favorite story, but helped me scratch my itch for more Plastic Man. Might pick up the Terrifics when I get the chance since I like Plas having other characters to bounce off of.
