Just ok, but WAY too long. The Italian parts got old fast, and I found myself skipping past a lot of it. Still, I was motivated to keep reading because I love the Barbara Havers character and wanted to see how it worked out.

A bit slow to start, but overall an enjoyable read.

Really enjoyed this one, has the makings of a really good series.

This is the third book in a series that is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I like the character development so far; Simon has moved past his mopey sad sack state (thankfully) and hopefully has moved on from Julia (who is, to say it tastefully, a complete **** (rhymes with punt. Fill in the blank.) Can't wait to tackle the next book in the series!

Good, but...the dialogue was a little cliché (ye scallywag!) and while mildly amusing, it got old fast. Not much of a plot, and it had some twists and turns before ending with a whimper. I do enjoy the series, so I'm willing to chalk this up as a bridge to new story lines.

Meh. Just meh.

This book was better than the last, although I felt like the ending was a little anti-climatic.
