I was hooked by the first chapter. I found myself invested in the world building and character building that took place in the first part of the book. Some say it starts off slow but I think the pacing makes for an amazing book. I waited this long because I thought the hype was just influencers influencing but I’m so happy I read this book and am now a fan of this author and the story telling ability that comes along with her! I need to go pre-order the next book !

Loved it. Well written and cute story. I figured it out part way through but written so well that I kept reading. Where is the planner app? I need that planner in my life!

How easy the words of others can conform people to believe and think things to be truth. We see this daily in modern times. While it may not be hangings, there is a form of “witch hunts” that happen.

I have found that I am not a fan of reading plays.

Dnf’d part way through. Story wasn’t cozy or Christmas like. Picked sue to cover.
