I say, "I will not be your weakness, Sean Kendrick."

Now he looks at me. He says, very softly, "It's late for that, Puck."

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

That is all.

Really loved this overall. It did take a bit to get into though as I left it sitting at 25% for months, but I picked it up again on Froday and couldn't put it down ❤ that ending is KILLER.

Really enjoyed An Island Christmas. Not quite what I was expecting based on the synopsis, but really glad I gave it a read.

I've read several of Rosamund Lupton's previous books; and I really love her writing style, it always makes me think and though the subject matters for her books differs; there is just something there, compelling you to keep reading them - I just adore her writing style and really feel like you can tell it's one of hers.

Three Hours is an absolutely compelling read; I couldn't put it down once I got into it. The story is horrifying, and every parents worst nightmare. I really felt like all of the differing points of view conveyed that horror, whether it was a parent, teacher, police officer or even the pupils themselves.

The setting was so well written and atmospheric; and though the subject matter was emotive, I just wanted to keep reading. I felt that the pacing was really well done and plotted perfectly. I gasped out loud several times and my heart was racing. Absolutely gripping, and I'd highly recommend it.

I really loved this fantastic Christmas read. It was the perfect mix of slow burn romance, fun slapstick comedy and a two very different deeper stories..

Ivy and Will met several years before, when they were both otherwise entangled, and Ivy could never get him out of her head - so, imagine her surprise, when Will, or as he now goes by, 'Bill' appears to be the caretaker of the castle that Ivy has been tasked with making Instagram worthy for a Christmas break for 20 odd people. I really enjoyed Ivy and Bill's interactions, there was alot of tension wrapped around them; and I loved to see them both come out of their sad shells over the course of the book.

Some of the books secondary characters were fantastic, I was a huge fan or Miranda and Keef especially! I laughed out loud on many occasions, from cake wars to the silver surfies taking charge and the 'Ghost' problem - this is a perfect, lighthearted Christmas read that I'd definitely recommend.
