25 books on I still find Scarpetta to be a good protagonist l, however I didn't feel like the story flowed as well this time. It was confusing at times, especially the Secret Service storyline, and I felt that Lucy's character was dragged back in a really strange, and disappointing way.

Absolutely loved this - have been ousting it off for a while but so glad I picked it up today. 

Stayed faithful to the original story whilst adding in so many other factors. Definitely one to read.

A quick novella, fairly basic plot and writing style.

Absolutely smashed it as always - the tension was stiffling. The emotions were top notch. The steam was 🥵. The Triple Falls cameo brought a tear to the eye of this dead hearted reader. Sublime.
