A little farfetched in places, but overall a good easy read. Particularly liked the STEM background.

A very slow start and I just found that reading this seemed like a chore. It's a shame as I've heard great things about this book but I just couldn't push through.

A nostalgic re-read.
Nearly 20 years after reading it for the first time, obviously my thoughts on this book aren't going to be the same.
I loved this as a teenager, but now at 34 (obviously no longer the target audience) I find this book a fairly easy read, a bit of a questionable story, and the main character is a bit pathetic.
A 2.5 but gave this one an extra star purely because of the joy it used to give me when I was younger.

Tv show is better.
