Definitely one of my favourites from Jae. I loved how well the characters communicated. Great character development. Can’t wait to read the short story sequel.

Went in expecting a cutesy rom-com, got the most devastating book I’ve ever read. It was painful but brilliant.

So sweet and adorable. Very relatable characters. I loved how well they communicated, and getting to see them working as a couple for so much of the book.

Would have preferred the romance aspect of the book to be stronger and more developed.

Brilliantly written as always by G Benson. However, not perfect as there was a bit too much miscommunication (or lack of communication), and the resolution was a bit quick for my liking—something that I don’t normally find with this author’s books.

Boring and did nothing for me. Sad, as I’ve enjoyed Charlie and Ava in later entires in the BlissVerse and was excited to read about the beginning of their relationship. Didn’t even feel their personalities, it’s like they were entirely different people from how they later appearances. And god I felt bad for Josie, I hope she found someone who appreciates her and who she deserves.

Very different from the film but equally as good.

My gosh this is the absolute sweetest book I’ve ever read. It’s so close to being sickly sweet at some points but never hits it, always staying just lovely and happy and good. If you want a low-angst, relaxing, happy read, this is it.

Okay, Lee Winter is the absolute queen of sapphic romance. Everything she writes ends up being so much richer and more layered than you could ever expect. Take, for example, First-Class Villains. You’d think four villains from four of her novels meeting in an airport lounge would just be a quick joke, but it ends up being a deeply emotional interqual for Natalia, and the way the characters interact is so perfect and humorous.

Also, having the white themed party turn up twice (as well as a particular balcony!) is so good.
