I really liked this, the quick turnaround from enemies to lovers felt like it was really well set up and made sense, and their relationship once the truce was called felt really sweet.
I loved the chemistry between the characters, but the incredibly repetitive “you’re better off without me” and “admit that you slept with someone” conversations dragged my rating down a bit.
This is probably the best and most realistic depiction of “character realising they’ve been a lesbian all along but they just didn’t understand their feelings and then when they did they just suppressed that realisation for a bunch more years” I’ve ever read.
Just a shame about all the g-slurs.

I think this is my favourite Robin Alexander book so far. I loved the unique frame story.

This is really my type of book. I loved the tennis aspect which was the primary focus of the books, and also loved the sweet romance plot. Just a shame about the narration which I didn’t like that much.
