Sapphic romance meets 1940s Chicago fantastical noir.

A descent from my typical read, but I was spellbound (ha!) by this novella. Leaves you pondering a few things, which I always appreciate.

Delightfully predictable and cliché in all the best ways. Mikey's inner narrative had me chuckling - what a budding entrepreneur!

Appreciate knowing stories like these exist for middle readers. A great lighthearted + quick read to throw in the mix.

Dare I say it was even better than the first - and I'm not one to often prefer a sequel.

Loved returning to Rebel Blue Ranch and the Ryder family (big fan of Amos - he's an underated charcter y'all!).

Spicy with a softer side. The mental health representation was well done. So much growth in storyline and authorship. Big fan. Back on my "maybe I'll move to WY" kick.
