emotional informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

Highly recommend the audio! Our author reads, giving voice to their words and power to their stutter. We also get to enjoy their musical talents with certain parts sung or layered with instrumentals.

A powerful work, especially so during Black History Month.

Gotta love a witty (and sometimes crass) FMC.

So much more than "just another romance." I laughed out loud many times at Maggie's inner dialogue and side-commentary. Her voice is the most human character I've read lately.

Lots of emotions here. Take note of the content warning, but trust that they're written with care and used for story progression/depth and not merely shock value.
