Originally DNFed back in july the reason as follows: Felt a little too unbelievable and i felt overwhelmed with all the characters and names to try and keep track of.
i picked this back up recently and felt pulled to finish it. still definitely not my favorite thing but it was a decent read and the accessibility language was fantastic. i do wish there was more rope play and actual talk about all things accessible play beyond this beginning, and maybe the end, sort of. overall not a bad read.

I really enjoyed this book. it was eye opening and made me feel so very much not alone in my own mental health and neurodivergent journey to living as the best version of myself. i would recommend this book to anyone who wants another's perspective in navigating a world not traditionally designed for our unique brains. <3

It was interesting to read a book where it could be a fictional retelling of the authors life, but it could also be just another memoir. keeps you one your toes. questioning if these things happened in this way or that.

I have never been one for high fantasy but Baldree's world and characters are such a cozy dnd vibe that i'm starting to see the appeal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, a fantasy lover or not.

incomplete ending. very cliffhanger like. honestly i think the movie might be better, and i'm typically a book over movie kinda person.
