i tried really hard to get into this. i just couldn’t finish it, i was not invested in the characters or the plot. the writing didn’t feel right, like something didn’t click to keep me on the edge of my feet. DNF at 48%

i genuinely enjoyed this book. i have only read the housemaid by her. this book was fast paced, had short chapters and kept me intrigued, definitely didn’t disappoint. i really loved the flashbacks too. it had a great plot twist that I did not see coming.

first off i want to say thank you again to the amazing author J.R Dust to allow me to be an arc reader for her 3rd book of this series. 

i’m so glad that we finally got gray’s story, it took me a little read because i’ve been super busy but i honestly could’ve read it all in a couple hours. i do hope there are more books to come in this series. i’m glad that gray got his HEA with victor. i absolutely love hate to love, forced proximity, and victor is definitely touch him & die. i love that he’s so protective over gray and gray doesn’t seem to mind it. i’m just so happy that they got together and they’re married, they’re honestly so perfect for each other. 

i definitely recommend this and if you are going to read this, please read the 2 previous books to understand more.
