This book could have explored more details about the nurses as it focused mainly on the war. Still I learned about inspiring women that history has forgotten. A fast read for fans of women's history!

Most series lag after book two, but the Descendants series continues to be magical and surprising. Any Disney, folklore, or fairytale lovers will fly through this book. I can't wait for the movie now!

I enjoy reading about Indian and Asian mythology and this book is perfect for that. Hesse explores the origins of the Buddha, of Siddhartha, and how to experience peace. It was beautifully written and gives more insight into the mind of the Buddha.
