It has been a long time since I've read a young adult novel with such a sassy female character, especially one who was the main character. Cimorene was delightful (when not dismissing knights) in a medieval, clever way. Somehow I think she would've been more comfortable in the 21st century than in the time period/realm she currently resides in. An enjoyable, quick read with a lack of clichés that was admirable.
