Reading this for my boyfriend before the show comes out; lots of reading between the lines, more so than usual in the graphic novels I read

Yes, a lot of this book was filler. Yes, i still loved it. I loved Tolya and Tamar and Nikolai and Marie and Sergei and I loved the twists!!! Everything was set up well enough that some probably guessed the twists but I didn't but I like a good surprise.
Content Warnings: Lack of consent with two of the three "love interests". I love Nikolai but he could have and should have been written better.

Perfect for fans of Written in the Stars and Happiest Season and all things Christmas and sapphic, Kiss Her Once For Me was the perfect wintery book for me to read at the end of June. As a lover of romance, graphic novels, Taylor Swift, found family, and of course, happy endings, this book may be my favorite read of the year.
Thanks so much to NetGalley and Atria for allowing me to read this early and give my honest thoughts on it!

While I admit that I feel a little empty after reading this with the lack of closure readers got when it came to characters like Andre and Belle, I loved this book. The author perfectly set up hints for plot twists but still let there be some out of the blue surprises making the reading throroughly enjoyable.

I am quite (understandably) upset that this is a duology and I don't get to see Alix E Harrow tell the stories of the millions of Cinderella's and Beauty's of the world. I understand but I don't.
