This book, and series, is very nostalgic for me but there are so many problematic things in this book. It's also very poorly written, some sentences don't really fit, and sometimes it's hard to see how the plot got from one point to another. All action with none of the explanation. 

I was definitely not expecting any of that. Very shocking tale of family, class, power, and betrayal with a nice sci-fi twist.

I have always been drawn to stories and fairy tales, just like Micah, though I never had his optimism of a sure happy ending, and all the fairy tale references (Elliot's name took me so long to realize!!!!!) made this book amazing from start to finish. I do feel it was a little drawn out, I think it gave me a couple new knots in my back, but all in all, it was pretty great.

Super cute, quick read

I almost rated it lower because the pacing was terribly slow at the beginning but Isaac won me over in the end and almost had me forget about the pacing at all
