Kit McBride Gets a Wife is the start to a fun historical western romance series. The McBride family consists of 4 "boys" (men now really) and 1 girl living on a secluded trading post run by the family. Junebug, the youngest and only girl, steals much of the show with her antics, including corresponding with women to get her brother a mail-order-bride. While this seems far fetched on the one hand, it also seems entirely believable, that a girl raised by only brothers (no mother or older sisters or even other women very involved) would come up with some of the things Junebug does. While it did take me a little while to get into the story, I ended up really enjoying this read and would definitely recommend it if you like light, sweet and fun hearted historical romances set in the gold rush era.

Circling Back to You was a cute office romance with fake dating and friends-to-lovers thrown in as well. There is some family drama (and some family drama that didn't need to be, isn't that always the case though?) but overall it was a light read. While I liked this one, it was one of those romances that I forgot about almost as soon as I was done reading it. For some reason it just didn't stick with me and probably won't be on my list to reread, which is odd, since I adored The Donut Trap... I'd give this 3.5 stars, but it just doesn't have the extra oomph to bump it up to a 4 star for me.

Don't get me wrong, I liked this story, but not as much as the first. I don't know if it was the characters or that it was really a much "sweeter" story? But it's still another glimpse into Cambric Creek, so I'm here for it.

This book... I honestly can't decide if it's my new fave from Cambric Creek, or if it's tied with MGMF. But it's amazing. I've heard a lot of people are hating on Lowell, but I LOVE him. He's got that himbo and golden retriever vibe, but also somehow at the same time being completely in love with himself. And werewolves... I've been a shifter lover for-ev-er! But this was my first experience with the knotting... and I think I may be going down a rabbit hole now.

I do need to go back and read Grayson's story, but I'm very much looking forward to it!

I have one word... tentacles. Omg, ok, so a lot of my reviews these days are going to be "this was my first experience with ____" but... this was my first experience with tentacles and... I'm intrigued. I will definitely need to continue with this series - I loved the writing and the world the author has created here too! Again, highly recommend as an intro to Monster Romance. And let me know what you think if you read it!

It took me a while to read this one... I set it aside and came back to it. I'm not even sure why - I think just a mood reader thing.

This was a fun contemporary witchy romance, perfect for kicking off this spooky season! It was a quick and easy read, tackling average to somewhat difficult family issues on both of the main characters' sides. I'm very invested in the side story of Danica's cousin and will be reading Boss Witch soon to find out what happens with the witch hunter!

While I enjoyed Feral, it wasn't one of my favorites. I haven't read the other books in the series yet, so I'm not sure if that would have affected my rating. But I didn't feel lost or like I didn't have enough information... I just wonder if I wasn't as invested in the world as I would have been if I had started at the beginning of the series. I do plan to go back and read the rest of the series though, as this was a really quick read with plenty of spice and plot. Overall, a solid shifter romance that would be a 3.5 if only Goodreads would get with the program...

Wow... super spicy... definitely leaning more on the erotica side than the "paranormal romance" end of things. But that said, it was a solid reverse harem monster story with a variety of males. At the beginning I was really concerned it was all spice and no plot (not that there's a problem with that, it's just not usually what I reach for) but the last 1/3 picked up a bit on the plot side, sort of. It was still plot-light, lol, but it was at least a plot.
