Ok, this one was really good. Second fave of the series. I guess I'm just a fan of a good age gap? This was definitely one of the bigger age gaps I've read, with the MMC 30+ years older. But I loved it!

I also really appreciated the ending and
how he gave her a chance to grieve and heal, but was there waiting for her when she was ready. One of the advantages of having a more mature MMC is definitely the fact that he understood she needed time to herself to properly grow and she couldn't do that with him, no matter how much he wished she could.

Vampires, billionaires, fake dating... what's not to love?! And don't forget, the billionaire vampire is also angsty and broody AF... as billionaire vampires tend to be, of course.

I really enjoyed this one and absolutely got "Twilight but make it spicy" vibes... so if that's your thing, I highly recommend this one! I'll be continuing on to book 2 as soon as possible!

I'm not familiar with Sleepy Hollow or the Headless Horman really, but I loved this take on the legend. This is a gothic, academia, spooky vibes, witchy tale, perfect for fall/spooky season. I absolutely cannot wait for Legend to read more!

Minotaurs! This is no Cambric Creek, but I liked the monster city all the same. I believe this is a futuristic world, with flying cars and after a monster/human war, where the monsters have been segregated and viewed by humans as "lesser." But it does seem that in some cities the humans are more willing to integrate and even have monsters as neighbors.

I would love to see more in this world, like her neighbor who will of course need to fall in love with another nice monster! ;)

Hockey... why choose... fake dating... boy obsessed... I mean... I can't express my love for these tropes enough. This was a fun, no third-act break up MFM romance. While it's the second in the series, you can easily read it as a standalone without missing anything. But be prepared to want to pick up the first book (Double Pucked) once you do because you'll want more info on some of the side characters!

This was a good PNR/monster romance and I definitely can't wait to find out more. I think Grim may be my current fave, but... I do have a soft spot for a sweet lion...

Ok, don't get me wrong, this one was a good book. The writing is consistent with the others in the series, I still love Salacious and all of the characters, but... well, I don't really love Beau and Maggie. I don't know if I just don't care about them enough to really want to read about them, or if the tropes/k1nks were just not really my thing... but this was my least favorite in the series and one that I would most likely skip on future rereads.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't read it! We all have such unique tastes, especially when it comes to this type of book, that I do think everyone should make their own determination. Some of you will LOVE it and hate my faves (Give Me More and Highest Bidder) and others will just love it all! But be sure to check TWs to make sure and take care of yourself first!

This second book picks up right where book 1 left off (yes, that cliffhanger was brutal). We see just how much Joey means to all the guys (yes, all)... and how much they mean to her.

My only issue was that I don't think we got to see enough of Kendrick and Joey's relationship progression. It just suddenly was... like, I want a little more buildup like we saw with the rest of the guys.

Of course, we can't be left with a HEA just yet... another (possibly slightly less brutal) cliffhanger is in store while we wait for book 3.

Omg, this is a book with my name written all over it. I devoured this in a day, I literally could not stop reading. Between the sports romance, forced proximity (and I do mean forced), boy obsessed (though not admitting to it at all, even to himself), and why choose... add in a bit of mystery and suspense... GIVE ME MORE!
