informative lighthearted medium-paced

A straight forward guide that was clearly written for men (which is totally fine)
I'm definitely not the demographic for this book but thought I'd read this and it's companion book to learn something new.

An absolutely beautiful summer book. Once I saw the Emily Henry sign off quote on the front cover I knew I had to read this, and it did not disappoint. It was a mixture of Emily Henry and Erin Hilderbrand mixed into one. I laughed, cried and felt emotions deep down that have been dormant for years. I think I may pick this back up again this summer and start from the beginning. I just loved it that much.

I just don't know how to rate this book. It started out so thrilling but then it gets very confusing. I could not describe the ending of this book to anyone because I have no idea what happened. However, I did enjoy the thrills and horror of everything in the mountains.

SOOOOOO BORING!
I don't know, maybe I'll return to it at a later date. Just not my vibe right now.

The book I would have loved reading as a young woman in my late teens and early twenties.

This book provides a very basic level of understanding feminism, self-love and healing. At some points I found the book way too surface level but there were also some profoundly deep chapters. Great read if you're a young adult or just now starting to get into Feminism.

A couple chapters into this book I almost stopped and just DNF'd. However, I'm glad I stuck with it.

I think the title of this book is misleading. I was expecting a roommate love story and this is more marriage of convenience. However, I did find it quite adorable. Loved the Irish main man and quirky art girlie. Their romance felt real and I enjoyed it.

Don't know if I'd read again but glad I got through it.

An emotional essay from a mother who lost her son and how that sparked a change in her. It is a sad but necessary read. At only 22 pages, I hope everyone picks this up.

High expectations made for a severely disappointing book.

Annabelle is a twenty something who has been divorced twice and decides to move to Phoenix for a new job. Nick is a businessman in his thirties who had a stroke recently and has had issues with recovery.

I was expecting a novel about a man accepting his new disability and falling in love with a woman who didn't care if he was in a wheelchair. Instead I got a main character male who is kind of a misogynist and an insecure main character woman. I didn't buy into them falling in love at all, especially since they have no interactions at all until 50% through the book. I don't think I'd recommend to anyone.

Cute cover, not a cute story.

This was going to be a 5 star book for me. It had everything I love, witty banter, friends to lovers, quirky main character, but the ending almost ruined it all.

Nothing ruins a romance faster for me than an unplanned pregnancy. That was such an unnecessary twist and I think they could've wrapped it up a little better.
