A charming read about a woman, Ivy, who buys a farmhouse in a small town, makes some friends, and falls in love with Christmas.
At first I was not a fan of Ivy. She was harsh and blunt and kind of rude. However, I think her development was nicely done. There were a few things I'd like to see more fleshed out, like her relationship with Ezra, the hesitation to get involved with him, etc. But I realize that in the length of this book it couldn't be done.
The "twist" at the end was truly a surprise for me. I knew what would happen but didn't see the how it would happen. I definitely shed a tear or two.
This brought me so much joy and warm fuzzy Christmas feelings.

I think the second book in this series was a fluke because this was awful. A cheesy holiday romance that was neither fun nor romantic. Both main characters have ZERO personality. I didn't buy into them falling in love at all. Also the writing was kind of cheap, it would skip over while conversations or elude to dialogue instead of just writing what was said.

A slow burn friends to lovers Christmas tale. I loved this so much, Max and Dani are great characters and I fell in love with their charm and banter. Fingers crossed the next installment is as good as this one was.

Hallmark Christmas movie with a bit of spice! This was just okay to me, I don't even remember a lot of what happens. However, I've heard the second book is better so I'm planning to continue with the series

A fluffy Christmas rom-com that is unputdownable. At just over 50 pages, I flew threw this second chance romance. I love the grumpy Xmas trope in holiday books.
I can't give this more than 4 stars, it was almost too quickly paced. I love novella's but I have a hard time buying into the romance when it goes by so fast.

Mars has never been more appealing.
I loved this little novella. Such a fun little story that moves quickly but still gives enough background to fully invest in characters. It was almost perfect for me. My only negative feedback is that the first 2-3 chapters feel a bit disjointed and I think we almost get too much background on our MC for it being a novella. Or the focus is in the wrong things. Additionally, dual POV would have been better.
A great snowy read and a perfect example of strong women in STEM.

I may have built the excitement and hype of this book up too much before starting it. This was SO boring. Probably the definition of all vibes no plot. I totally understand why some people love this book, found family, outcasts, dystopian universe, etc. however, NOTHING happened. I was waiting for the big drama or conflict and nothing. This put me into the biggest reading slump I had this year. So glad this is finally over.
