I found this a decently engaging read, even though I didn't love the pacing of the ending.

This book was the right balance of creepy, heart-wrenching, and thought-provoking. Just what I was looking for!

I loved how the themes were effortlessly integrated into both the plot and the characters' dialogue - that reinforcement really hit home.

I wanted to love this, but the balance/pacing felt off for me. I would've liked more meaningful character arcs and a more believable male lead.

The narrative in reverse aspect was cool, but made the reveals lose a lot of the satisfaction for me, because the arcs and twists had to be understood only in retrospect.

I think I'm just not the target audience but I wasn't crazy about this book. So many aspects felt irrelevant and/or repetitive.

Despite the overbearing nickname for the protagonist and the male characters being excessive caricatures, this book was still fun to read.

Murphy's law was taken to an EXTREME here, but once I put aside aspects like "logic" and "realism" it was a good time. I did also like the complicated family dynamics and wished there had been more there.

I knew what I was getting into with the clichés (Eiffel tower, the love interest's name literally being KNIGHTLEY, etc.), but it just was so hard for me to get past how badly the protagonist treated everyone, especially her past lovers.

2.75 stars, though this book was four solid stars until the last 50ish pages when everything got ridiculous. I get that for the romance novel formula there had to be an obstacle to the relationship, but the way it was done was so sloppy and ridiculous. Oh no, he's rich!
